The First Non-invasive, Rapid and Highly Accurate Test for Endometriosis

The EndoSure Test is a groundbreaking, non-invasive diagnostic tool that offers remarkable accuracy in detecting endometriosis. Designed to equip healthcare professionals with critical data, it facilitates the swift diagnosis of this condition. The entire testing process is efficiently completed in under an hour, with the potential for results to be delivered on the same day.

Similar in how it works to an ECG, the EndoSure Test, rather than measuring the heart’s electrical activity, focuses on identifying a distinctive pattern of activity within the abdominal area. This is indicative of the prescence of endometriosis tissue. This innovative approach ensures a seamless and expedient experience for patients.

Clear patient information.

Sensors are placed on the abdomen and a respiratory belt applied.

The patient drinks a glass of water.

The myoelectrical activity is recorded for 30 minutes.

Same Day Endometriosis Diagnosis

The EndoSure Test was introduced in 2023, however the basis of this scientific discovery was first reported in 1998 by John Mathias, when it was identified that endometrial tissue secretes a substance that causes an irregular reaction in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. The EndoSure Test identifies this biomarker by analysing the myoelectrical activity of the GI tract.

The Endosure test is a non-Invasive clinical decision support tool that uses myoelectrical data that comes from an Electroviscerogram (EVG). It is a simple non-invasive, painless procedure performed by utilising topical electrode pads similar to those used in an electrocardiogram (ECG). The EndoSure Test analyses the myoelectrical activity of the smooth muscle in the abdomen from the EVG. The data is analysed and compared to the known myoelectric digital fingerprint uniquely associated with endometriosis and adenomyosis.

During the clinical trials the test was found to have 100% concordance with surgical findings.

  • All diseased individuals were correctly identified as diseased i.e., there are no false negatives.
  • All healthy individuals were correctly identified as healthy, i.e., there were no false positives.

Subsequently the test is proving to be very accurate in first time diagnosis and post operative patients.

Prior to arriving to the clinic for the test you will need to fast for 6 – 8 hours. Once there, the technician will place a flexible respiratory belt across your upper chest over your garments, and three electrode pads on your abdomen. You will be seated in a comfortable, reclining chair. You will then be asked to remain still for 10 minutes during which time a baseline recording is obtained.

At this point, you will then be asked to drink water until you feel full. You will have five minutes to drink the water. For the remainder of the test, you will be asked to sit still in the reclining position for an additional 30 minutes. There is no discomfort or danger associated with this test.

No. The practitioner will need to affix the electrode pads just above your belly button (umbilicus) and so your upper garment will be lifted exposing the abdominal area up to the rib cage and covered up again for the remainder of the test.

The test itself is completed within 60 mins. Before the test there is a short patient preparation time.

The data is available as soon as the test is completed which is then analysed and your diagnosis will be available as soon as your physician can conduct the review, in many cases this will be the same day.
