Dr Moji Balogun is a highly experienced Consultant Radiologist with over 20 years of expertise in diagnostic gynaecological imaging. She is a core member of the Midlands Women’s Health team, offering advanced ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopic imaging services for a wide range of women’s health conditions. Dr Balogun has a special interest in gynaecological cancer imaging, endometriosis, fibroid evaluation, fertility imaging, and pelvic floor MRI.
She plays a central role in multidisciplinary care, providing expert radiological insights to support accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment planning. Educated in Nigeria, Dr Balogun moved to the UK in 1993, earning her MRCP in 1995 and completing specialist radiology training in Leeds and Birmingham. Since 2001, she has served as a Consultant Radiologist at Birmingham Women’s Hospital, where she leads on gynaecological cancer imaging. An acknowledged leader in her field, Dr Balogun is the Gynaecology Imaging Adviser to the Royal College of Radiologists and chairs the FRCR Part 2 Gynaecology Question Panel.
She has published widely and lectures nationally and internationally. Her professional memberships include the British and European Societies of Urogenital Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America.
